About Us

Good occupational health and safety (OH&S) practices ensure that early childhood services (including kindergartens, long day care and child care services) are safe places for staff, volunteers, parents and other visitors.
Good occupational health and safety practices ensure that early childhood services are safe places for staff, volunteers, parents and other visitors.

Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA) promotes the voice of parents in quality early childhood education for Victorian children, serving more than 200,000 children and their families. Our membership is made up of over 1200 early childhood education and care providers such as:

  • independent kindergartens,
  • cluster managers,
  • long day care services,
  • childcare centres and
  • local governments.

ELAA has extensive expertise with occupational health and safety issues from years of experience as an employer organisation. This has enabled ELAA to develop various occupational health and safety education and training resources as well as the capacity to offer occupational health and safety training courses.
